The former vice chairman of the Central Committee of the China Democratic League Yu Zezheng was invalid due to illness and died in Beijing last Friday (August 18) at the age of 91.

The China Democratic Alliance said that Yu Zezheng had served as the representative of the 6th and 7th China National People's Congress, a member of the Standing Committee of the Ninth National People's Congress, a member of the Environment and Resources Protection Committee, the 8th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, technologyMember of the Committee, the Standing Committee of the 10th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, deputy director of the proposal committee, the 5th Central Committee of the China Democratic Alliance, the 6th Central Committee of the Central Committee, the Seventh Central Standing Committee and Secretary -General, the Eighth Deputy Chairman and Secretary -General, as well asNinth Vice Chairman of the Central Committee.
The China Democratic Alliance also mentioned that Yu Zezhang's farewell ceremony will be held on Thursday (August 24) in the morning at the Beijing Babaoshan Revolutionary Cemetery Auditorium.
