The first national ecological day home event was held in Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province on August 15.Ding Xuexiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China and Deputy Prime Minister of the State Council, attended the opening ceremony of the event, conveying Xi Jinping's instructions and speaking.
The Standing Committee of the National People's Congress passed the decision at the meeting on June 28 that August 15th was established as a national ecological day.
