Xu Wenrong, the former deputy secretary of the party group and deputy general manager of China Petroleum and Natural Gas Group Co., Ltd., is suspected of serious disciplinary violations and is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervision investigation by the State Supervision Commission of the CPC Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
The State Administration of Discipline Inspection of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection reported the above news on the official website on Sunday (June 25).
Public information shows that Xu Wenrong is 62 years old. He has been the assistant to the general manager of China Petroleum Group in January 2004. Since May 2011, he has successively served as the leader and deputy general manager of the China Maritime Discipline Inspection Team.
Xu Wenrong returned to China Petroleum in January 2016, served as deputy general manager, and served as the deputy secretary of the party group of the group in November of the same year.He was appointed as a full -time external director in the central enterprise in September 2020, and was removed from his position in February this year.
