New Zealand officially announced that Prime Minister Hipkins will lead the business delegation from Sunday (June 25) to visit China and will meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
The New Zealand government announced on Monday (19th) on the official website that Chris Hipkins will lead a group to visit Beijing, Tianjin and Shanghai from June 25 to 30.
Hipkins will meet with Xi Jinping, Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang, and Zhao Le Ji, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China.
Hipkins said: "I look forward to meeting with Chinese leadership with multiple face -to -face meetings. At that time, it will discuss topics such as climate change, economic stability, regional and global security, human rights, and Ukraine War."
