OPPO, the largest smartphone manufacturer in China, closed its chip design business.

Zheku is OPPO's chip designEstablished in 2019, the legal representative is OPPO CTO Liu Jun.The company aims to carry out work in accordance with the idea similar to the internal chip department of Apple.The company is divided into three major teams, including NPU chip center, baseband chip center, and WiFi Bluetooth chip center.

According to Zheku's official website, the company has branches in Shanghai, Xi'an, Beijing, and Chengdu, of which Shanghai is the main R & D base of Zheku.According to the company's registered data platform Tianyan check data, Zheku Shanghai Branch has nearly 200 patents, many of which are related to semiconductor.
