China Jiangxi Province has faced drought weather for many days. 95%of counties and cities have reached the highest -level drought level. The official issued the highest -level meteorological drought red warning that also belongs to the highest level on Friday (September 23).
According to China CCTV news report, due to the abnormal high temperature and rainy weather, severe meteorological droughts have begun to appear on July 12, and it has continued for 73 days.
The monitoring of the comprehensive meteorological drought index on September 22 shows that 95%of the counties (cities and districts) in Jiangxi have reached a special drought. It is expected that the meteorological drought in the province will continue in the next seven days.
Relevant departments from all over the world have been told to continue to do a good job of drought defense, and urban and rural residents pay attention to saving water.
China has faced the heat wave since July this year. Sichuan and Chongqing have previously experienced corporate discontinued or orderly power consumption to "let electricity in the people".
