Joe Kelly, vice president of Huawei Ireland International Media Affairs, died suddenly in Shenzhen last weekend at the age of 55.Huawei confirmed the matter through a statement and said that he was an experienced member in the team, and was respected throughout the company.

According to RTE (RTE), Huawei did not disclose the cause of Kelly's death in the statement.

Before Keli joined Huawei in 2012, he served as different public relations and consultants, including as a communication director in the Schola European Branch and the vice president of Public Relations at Marcii.In addition, he has served as the general managing director of marketing and communications in BT WHOLESALE for eight years.

In recent years, Kaita has led Huawei to counterattack the Trump administration's criticism of the company, such as accusing Huawei technology risks to the US Guoan.
