According to the official website of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council of China, Zheng Xiaosong, director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao Special Administrative Region, suffered from depression and fell to his death in his residence in Macao on the evening of October 20.
