The Ministry of Public Security added two post-65 assistant ministers within two months.Recently, the official website of the Ministry of Public Security has been updated, showing that Nie Furu, a former spokesperson for the Ministry of Public Security, has assumed the post of Party Committee Member, Assistant Minister and Director of the General Office of the Ministry, ranking behind Lin Rui, another assistant minister.

Lin Rui assumed his current position two months ago.On June 22, the State Council appointed and dismissed state staff. Lin Rui, then deputy mayor of Xiamen City and director of the Municipal Public Security Bureau, went north to serve as a member of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Public Security, assistant to the minister, and concurrently served as the director of the Cyber Security Bureau; 61-year-old WangJian was removed from the position of Assistant Minister of Public Security.

According to the resume of the Ministry of Public Security, Nie Furu, born in September 1966, is a native of Xingan, Jiangxi Province. He graduated from the Central Party School with a major in Party Theory and Party Construction, and holds a doctorate in law.And applied professional graduate, Bachelor of Engineering.Both are first-class superintendents.

At present, there are 13 people in the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, including Secretary of the Party Committee and Minister Zhao Kezhi; Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Minister in charge of daily work Wang Xiaohong;Minister Deng Weiping, Vice Ministers Du Hangwei and Meng Qingfeng, Vice Ministers and Director of the National Immigration Administration Xu Ganlu, Anti-Terrorism Commissioner Liu Yuejin, Vice Minister Sun Lijun, Director of the Political Department Liu Zhao, Assistant Ministers Lin Rui and Nie Furu.Among them, Sun Lijun (born in January 1969), Lin Rui and Nie Furu are the only three post-65s.

In addition to the Ministry of Public Security, among other departments of the State Council, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of National Security, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Commerce, and the Central Bank also have assistant ministers. Most of the assistant ministers are members of the party group or party committee members of the ministry.Some assistant ministers have specific areas of responsibility, or concurrently serve as the top leaders of the internal agencies of the ministry.
