At 3 o'clock this afternoon, Guangzhou held a city-wide meeting of leading cadres.The meeting announced the central government's decision that Zhang Shuofu, a member of the Standing Committee of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee, secretary of the Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection, and director of the Municipal Supervisory Committee, will be appointed as a member of the Standing Committee of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and secretary of the Guangzhou Municipal Party Committee.
The public resume shows that Zhang Shuofu was born in August 1965, a native of Hunan, graduated from Wuhan Institute of Water Conservancy and Electric Power, and worked in the Hunan Water Conservancy System for a long time after graduation.
In 2008, Zhang Shuofu left the water conservancy system where he had worked for nearly 20 years, and was transferred to the deputy secretary of the Loudi Municipal Party Committee, and later served as the secretary of the Yongzhou Municipal Party Committee.At the beginning of 2013, he took up the post of deputy governor of the Hunan Provincial Government and became a provincial and ministerial official.In April 2015, he entered the discipline inspection system and served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Yunnan Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection.
In January 2017, he was transferred to the Standing Committee of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee, Secretary of the Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection, and was elected as the director of the Beijing Municipal Supervision Commission. This is the third adjustment in more than three years.
Ren Xuefeng, deputy secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and former secretary of the Guangzhou Municipal Party Committee, was born in October 1965.In August 2014, he was transferred from the deputy mayor of Tianjin to the Standing Committee of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Guangzhou Municipal Party Committee. He has also served as the Deputy Secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee since February last year.
