(Beijing Comprehensive News) Chinese Premier Li Keqiang reiterated yesterday that forced transfer of technology will never be allowed.

Based on reports from Xinhua News Agency and Reuters, Li Keqiang and French Prime Minister Philippe jointly attended the Sino-French Entrepreneurs Symposium.In his answer to questions, he said that China welcomes French companies with open arms to strengthen cooperation in the high-tech field with China. China will strictly protect intellectual property rights and will never allow forced transfer of technology.

One of the main points of contention in the Sino-US trade friction is that the United States suspects that there is still forced technology transfer in the Chinese market. The European Commission Vice President Katainen also stated at the press conference after the China-EU High-level Economic and Trade Dialogue the day before yesterday that although China did not expressly stipulateForeign companies in China must transfer technology to Chinese companies, but this requirement does exist in practice.

Li Keqiang also said yesterday that China will open its door wider and wider.
