This year is the 120th anniversary of the birth of former Chinese Premier Zhou Enlai. The Hong Kong Exhibition Organizing Committee will hold a large Zhou Enlai commemorative exhibition next month to show the public the historical contributions made by Zhou Enlai and the older generation of proletarian revolutionaries to the establishment of a new China, and strengthen the public, especiallyAdolescent generation's cognition of country and nation.
According to the Hong Kong Commercial Daily, the organizing committee of the exhibition held a press conference yesterday and stated that the title of this exhibition is People's Premier Zhou Enlai - a large-scale exhibition commemorating the 120th anniversary of Zhou Enlai's birth (Hong Kong).The meeting, the Propaganda Department of Huai'an Municipal Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, and the Huai'an Zhou Enlai Memorial Site Administration were jointly organized.
Yu Guochun, member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and chairman of the Hong Kong Federation of Overseas Chinese Associations, who is also the chairman of the organizing committee, said at the press conference that Zhou Enlai has done a lot of basic and pioneering work to solve the Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan issues.He is also the founder of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Policy of New China, and personally cared about and guided the implementation of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Policy.
According to reports, the exhibition will be held at the Convention and Exhibition Center from the 8th to the 11th of next month, covering an area of more than 2,000 square meters, consisting of more than 500 precious historical pictures and 69 sets of 119 related objects.The historical film focuses on the classic historical moments of Zhou Enlai's life, and truly reproduces Zhou Enlai's outstanding contributions and extraordinary life, as well as the great contributions and sacrifices he and his wife Deng Yingchao made in revolution, nation-building, diplomacy, and peace.
Yu Guochun mentioned that on the opening day of the exhibition, Zhou Enlai's nieces Zhou Bingde and Zhou Bingjian will attend and officiate the ceremony.In addition, another highlight of this exhibition is the participation of many Hong Kong youths.At present, more than 140 middle school students have completed professional training. They will serve as volunteers and tour guides during the exhibition. They will introduce to the Hong Kong audience in Cantonese the little-known story of Zhou Enlai after the country's decision-making and Zhou Enlai's rich and colorful diplomatic practice.And its legendary life, showing the demeanor of Hong Kong youth.
Yu Guochun believes that these young people's explanations and guided tours will trigger more young people's thinking and understanding of studying for the rise of China, and inspire more young people to take responsibility and work hard to realize the dream of the new era.The exhibition organizing committee expects that nearly 30,000 people will visit the venue during the entire exhibition period.
