According to reports from the official website of the Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts, on the 24th, a WeChat public account reported through the Internet that Fan Yu, a young teacher at the Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts, was suspected of plagiarism in the work Open Air Cinema National Museum [Poster Series] (Open Air Cinema National Museum), which won the German Red Dot Award Supreme AwardThe party committee of Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts attached great importance to this incident, and promptly established a special investigation team to quickly investigate.

According to the investigation results, on the 26th, the Academic Committee of the Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts held a special meeting to confirm Fan Yu’s plagiarism. On the 27th, according to the opinions of the Academic Committee and the Leading Group for Title Reform, the Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts decided:

1. Disqualification of Associate Professor Fan Yu;

2. To revoke and take back all the rewards and bonuses Fan Yu obtained for the award-winning work;

3. Decide to dismiss Fan Yu and terminate the personnel agency labor contract between Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts and Fan Yu.
