(Morning News) The Ukrainian military said early morning on Saturday (February 26) that the Russian army attacked a military base located in a main road in Kiev, Ukraine, but its operation was repelled by Ukraine.

Reuters reported that the Ukrainian armed forces posted posts on Facebook, saying "a military base on the victory of Kiev in Russia's military criminal. It has been repelled by us."

Shengli Avenue is located in the west of the center of Kiev.

The post did not provide any details, and it was impossible to confirm the report immediately.

According to Interfax, the Russian army is trying to occupy one of Kiev's power stations.

Ukrainian President Zeleziski warned earlier that the Russian army will launch an attack on Kiev before dawn.
