The highest legislature in China has decided to join the global weapon trade treaty, which is compared with the US President Trump's US priority policy.

According to the China News Agency, the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China voted at a meeting on Saturday (20) to vote on the decision to join the weapon trade treaty.

The treaty was adopted by the United Nations Conference in 2013 and took effect in December 2014.

According to Bloomberg, the treaty has formulated the sales and transfer rules of small weapons, missile launchers and warships for participating countries, and has approved or agreed to comply with more than 100 countries.
