According to Zhongshi News Network, many people in the Kuomintang once worshiped the Zhongshan Mausoleum.For example, the then Kuomintang chairman Lien Chan went to the "ice -breaking journey" in mainland China in April 2005. He had led the Kuomintang to visit the Zhongshan Mausoleum. This is also the first time that the Kuomintang chairman has visited the Zhongshan Mausoleum since the cross -strait division in 1949.

In addition, the then President of the Kuomintang Wu Boxiong also led a group to worship Zhongshan Mausoleum in May 2008 and June 2009.

Sun Yat -sen, a pioneer of the Chinese democratic revolutionary, died in Beijing in March 1925. His body was in the Zhongshan Mausoleum.

Ma Ying -jeou's "landing" ancestor sacrifice itinerary on Monday (March 27).This is the first time in the 74 years of cross -strait division, the first time in Taiwan has visited mainland China.

From Tuesday (28th), Ma Ying -jeou will first go to Nanjing to worship Zhongshan Mausoleum and make public conversations, as well as the Presidential Palace and Sun Yat -sen's former residence of the Presidential Palace and Sun Yat -sen;Wuhan, Hubei, who was in Wuchang, went to Xiangtan, Hunan to worship ancestors, and then "accompany the capital" Chongqing during the war, and finally returned to Shanghai.

In the meantime, he will also have a discussion with students from Shanghai Fudan University, Wuhan University in Hubei, and Hunan University.
