Government of Hong Kong and Macau agrees to increase the conventional quota of Hong Kong -Zhuhai -Macao Bridge in Hong Kong and Macao, Hong Kong and Macao, to strengthen the land cross -border traffic between Hong Kong and Macao.
According to the Hong Kong government website, the Hong Kong Transport Department made the above announcement on Thursday (January 26).
Since the opening of the bridge, the Hong Kong Transport Department has issued a total of 1,800 Hong Kong quotas.Considering the traffic situation near the bridge, the Transport Department will issue 1,000 Hong Kong quotas.
The new quota will be distributed in two stages from the second quarter of this year.The newly added Hong Kong quota is divided into two types: company and individual quotas, each type of 500, and the validity period is not more than three years.If the number of applications exceeds the specified quota to be issued, the Transport Department will decide the order of the application of each application according to the application category.
The application qualification of the new quota remains unchanged.The company's quota is provided with registered companies in both places in Hong Kong and Macao, or the Hong Kong -registered company's registered company in Macau is applied; the personal quota is provided in Macau to engage in paid work or open the company's permanent residents of Hong Kong.Private cars with valid Hong Kong quotas can enter and exit Macau through the bridge without limit.
