The Hong Kong Security Bureau plans to open the Shantou -corner border for the restricted area for passengers except Zhongying Street.
According to the Sing Tao Daily, Li Guanhong, chairman of the Rural Committee of the Shatoujiao District, said on Thursday (January 26) that the Security Bureau plans to gradually open the Shatoujiao other than Zhongying Street from the first quarter of next year next year.The border restricted area and open daily travel groups and personal passengers. The upper limit of the daily travel group is 700 and 300 individuals.
Li Guanhong said that the Security Bureau has consulted the owner and proposed to increase about 100 parking spaces for the use of residents in the area and set up a fence at the border to prevent someone from mistakenly run into the penalty area.
Li Guanhong said that the government's gradual openness is conducive to the economic income of the region.
