The Chinese scientific research team reached the top of Zhuo Aoyou Peak. This is the first time they reached the peak of 8000 meters other than Everest.
According to Xinhua News Agency, at 9:15 am on Sunday (October 1), 18 Chinese scientific research players successfully reached the top six peaks of the world.
The scientific and technical team members have carried out a number of scientific tasks such as extremely high altitude automatic meteorological station standing, peak ice and snow measurement, ice core drilling, and snow and ice sample collection.
This is the first time that the Chinese scientific research team has reached a peak of 8000 meters other than Everest, marking that China has the systematic ability to carry out extremely high altitude comprehensive scientific investigations.
