The Civil Aviation Administration of China predicts that domestic passenger flights on the 11th holiday of the Mid -Autumn Festival this year will increase by 18%compared with 2019.
According to China Surging News, Jin Jun, deputy director of the Department of Transportation of the Civil Aviation Administration, said at a press conference on Friday (September 15) that the Mid -Autumn Festival holiday is expected to ensure domestic passenger flights 10,0004,000 classes and 1.96 million domestic passengers increased by 18%and 17%over the National Day holiday in 2019, respectively.
Jin Jun also said that the Civil Aviation Administration expects that more than 21 million passengers will travel during this period.
Jin Jun pointed out that the current number of international passenger flights that currently executed every week has returned to 52%in 2019, and the number of passenger flights navigation countries has resumed to nearly 90%before the epidemic.
