Sources revealed that China is investigating the cockpit water of Japanese cargo ships to detect whether there is radioactive substances in seawater.
According to the Japanese Kyodo News Agency on Friday (September 15), a number of economic and trade sources reported that the Tianjin Maritime Safety Administration was testing radioactive substances on the cockpit water loaded by Japanese cargo ships.
These cockpit water comes from the tilted sea in Japan. When the cargo ship is loaded with the goods, the cockpit water will be discharged outside the ship.According to reports, the Tianjin Maritime Safety Administration has stated that if the radioactive substances detected by the pressure cockpit water exceed the standard, Japanese cargo ships will be prohibited from discharging compressor water.However, the situation where radioactive substances exceeded the standard have never happened.
It is reported that China has not announced the testing of the cockpit water and no written notice is issued, but many trading ports such as Tianjin and Shandong are testing the cockpit water of Japanese cargo ships.
