Honduras officially appointed the famous pharmacist Moncada as the first ambassador to China.
According to the Hong Kong News Agency, Honduras President Castro hosted an oath in office on Thursday (September 14th) local time, and appointed Montcada as the first ambassador to Honduras' first place in the People's Republic of ChinaEssence
Public information shows that Moncada, 78, is a famous pharmacist and scientist in Honduras this year.He founded the Wolfson Institute of Biomedical at the University of London, UK in 1996, and served as the director until 2012. He started to engage in cancer research at the University of Manchester the following year.
Moncada is a member of the Royal Society and a foreign academician of the National Academy of Sciences.
The government of Honduras said that after the formal establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Hong, as the first ambassadors between the two countries sent each other, marking the further deepening development of the relationship between the two countries.
China and Honduras established diplomatic relations in March this year. Yu Bo, who was the first time he was run by the Chinese Embassy in Hondulas, served as the first ambassador to Hongdu. On August 28, he submitted a copy of the Chinese book with Honduras Foreign Minister Reina.
