China's Internet giant Tencent released a large model of artificial intelligence (AI) "Mixed Yuan Model", and launched a chat robot similar to ChatGPT, officially joining the competition of Chinese technology companies in the AI field.

Tencent Thursday (September 7) released the AI mixed dollar model (referred to as mixed yuan) at the annual Global Digital Ecological Conference held in Shenzhen, which is open to enterprise customers.This model is a large language model independently developed by Tencent, with a parameter of 100 billion yuan, with Chinese creation and logical reasoning capabilities in complex language.

Jiang Jie, Vice President of Tencent, introduced that the current mixed Yuan has access to more than 50 products and services under the company.He demonstrated at the event, how the mixed element conducts the content analysis and summary of the meeting, the creation of documentation, and the generation of advertising pictures, and let the chat robot "Mixed Yuan Assistant" introduce themselves, and answer simple mathematics questions.

Jiang Jie said that the mixed element uses probe -based technical algorithms, which does not rely entirely on the "external" method of foreign database plug -ins.He said that compared with the common AI models on the market, this method can improve the authenticity of the model's own answer, and effectively reduce the hallucination rate by 30%to 50%.

American startup OpenAI launched ChatGPT last November, which has attracted widespread attention in China, but related services cannot be used in China.Many Chinese technology companies have launched similar services this year to seize the domestic market to obtain new sources of income.

China National Network Information Office has strengthened the supervision of the generation AI service from August 15th, and requires the industry to declare a security assessment to the official before providing services.

According to Chinese media reports, the AI models of 11 technology companies including Tencent, Baidu, Shangtang, and Baichuan Intelligent have been approved by China on Thursday (August 31). At least five have been launched to the public.AI products.

Compared with other technology companies, they have released their own AI models earlier earlier this year. High -end chip is the core hardware of training large AI models.Under the competition between China and the United States, the United States ordered the US chip manufacturing giant Nvidia last September to stop exporting A100 and H100 high -end graphics processor (GPU) chips to curb China's development in AI technology.Nvidia subsequently launched A800 chips that comply with export control regulations, but the data transmission rate was limited, and it also faced a serious supply shortage.
