The Japanese sea patrol unit reported that two Chinese maritime police ships entered the surrounding waters around the Diaoyu Islands (known as the "Shougang Island") and sailed for nearly 35 hours before leaving.

According to the Kyodo News Agency, Japan's 11th Pipe District Maritime Security Headquarters (Naha) reported that the two ships of the China Maritime Police Station drove to the Diaoyu Islands waters at 2:55 am on Thursday (May 11).Later, it did not leave until around 1:40 pm on Friday, and sailed for 34 hours and 45 minutes.

The Japanese sea patrol unit said that the two Chinese maritime ships followed the Japanese fishing boat near the Diaoyu Islands. The Japanese patrol ship also issued a warning of the two Chinese ships demanding.
