The Standing Committee of the Shenzhen Municipal People's Congress of Guangdong Province passed the voting on Friday (September 1), and appointed Zhao Yong as the deputy mayor of Shenzhen and the director of the municipal public security.

According to the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone News, Luo Wenzhi, director of the Standing Committee of the Shenzhen Municipal People's Congress, awarded the appointment letter to Zhao Yong on Friday and presided over the constitutional oath ceremony.

Public reports show that Zhao Yong is 53 years old and has a Siping of Jilin and graduated from the People's Public Security University of China.He has long worked at the Domestic Security Defense Administration of the Ministry of Public Security. He was the director of the Nine Division of the Domestic Security Bureau.He is the deputy director of the Zhejiang Provincial Public Security Department.

Zhao Yong is currently the deputy mayor of the Shenzhen Municipal Government, a member of the party group, the party committee secretary, director, and supervisor of the Municipal Public Security Bureau, and the first deputy secretary of the Municipal Political and Legal Committee.

Liu Guozhou, who was previously the deputy mayor of Shenzhen and the director of the Municipal Public Security Bureau, was appointed as the director of the Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department in July this year.
