The former deputy director and director of the General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Wang Shaojun, former director of the Central General Protection and Chief of the Central Guard Regiment of the Joint Staff Department of the Central Military Commission, died in Beijing on April 26 due to illness treatment.At the age of 67.

The Chinese official media Xinhua News Agency reported the above news on Monday (July 24) three months after Wang Shaojun's death.

According to Xinhua News Agency, Wang Shaojun is a native of Qinghe County, Hebei Province. He joined the army in 1969 and joined the Chinese government in 1975.He has served as the heads of platoon commander, company commander, battalion chief, director of the teaching and research office, chief of the department, captain, chief of staff, deputy regiment, executive deputy head, deputy military secretary secretary, and executive deputy director.

Wang Shaojun is also the representative of the 19th National Congress of the Chinese Government, and the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.He was promoted to the rank of lieutenant general in 2016.
