The Secretary of the Qinzhou Municipal Party Committee of the Communist Party of China and Lin Guan, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Qinzhou Port area of China (Guangxi) of China (Guangxi), died at the age of 56 due to a sudden heart -based death in the early morning of Wednesday (April 19).

According to the "Chang'an Street Inspector" of the Beijing Daily, Lin Guan's last public business activity was on April 17th. On the same day, he hosted a meeting of the Standing Committee of the Qinzhou Municipal Party Committee.

Public information shows that Lin Guan was born in November 1966. He was born in Pingnan, Guangxi. From 1987 to 1991, he studied at the Department of Economics and Management at Northern Jiaotong University (now Beijing Jiaotong University).After graduating, he returned to Guangxi and worked at the Nanning Railway Branch of Liuzhou Railway Bureau, Guangxi Local Railway Co., Ltd., and Guangxi Coastal Railway Co., Ltd.

In 2007, Lin Guan served as a director and deputy general manager of Guangxi Beibu Gulf Investment Group Co., Ltd., and then worked as deputy mayor of Qinzhou from 2010 to 2011.In 2013, he was transferred to the vice chairman, general manager, and deputy secretary of the party committee of Guangxi Investment Group Co., Ltd.In December 2014, he returned to the Beibu Gulf Investment Group as the chairman of the group and secretary of the party committee.

At the end of 2016, Lin Guan was transferred to Hezhou and served as Deputy Secretary, Deputy Mayor, and Mayor of the Municipal Party Committee.

In March 2021, Lin Guan took over as the secretary of the Hezhou Municipal Party Committee.In December of the same year, he was transferred to the secretary of the Qinzhou Municipal Party Committee and worked so far.
