(Beijing News) Chen Wenqing, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the Central Political and Legal Committee, presided over a plenary meeting of the Central Political and Legal Committee to "firmly maintain the security, institutional security, and ideological security of the state power."
Xinhua News Agency reported that Chen Wenqing presided over a plenary meeting of the CPC Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Monday (October 31) to deploy the 20th spirit of the Communist Party of China.
This is the first time that Chen Wenqing has chaired the meeting after he was the secretary of the Political and Legal Committee.He was formerly Minister of China National Security, and the Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China was promoted to members of the Politburo, becoming the first central member of the CPC's highest decision -making institution from the position of Minister of the Ministry of National Security.
Meeting requires that we must thoroughly study and implement the ideological thinking of the rule of law in China, promote scientific legislation, strict law enforcement, justice justice, and abiding by the people; we must unswervingly implement the overall national security concept, promote the modernization of the national security system and capacity, and firmly maintain the national powerSafety, institutional security, ideological security.
The meeting also emphasized that adhering to and strengthening the Chinese Communist Party's absolute leadership in political and legal work, fulfilling the main responsibilities of maintaining national political security, ensuring stability of social overall situation, promoting social fairness and justice, and ensuring the people's security industry.
