Cai Ruolian, director of the Hong Kong Education Bureau, believes that Hong Kong students must fully understand China, consciously respect the national system and one country and two systems, and do not agree with students to inspect mainland China, which is equivalent to brainwashing.

Cai Ruolian Sunday (July 17) said on the Hong Kong commercial radio program that the Hong Kong government is trying to strengthen the education of the Chinese Constitution, the Hong Kong Basic Law and the National Security. This includes developing textbooks according to education guidelines. And training for teachers.

Cai Ruolian said that in the past, some people mistakenly believe that "one country" and "two systems" are opposite, but the stronger the concept of "one country", the better the "two systems" advantage will be played.

She also introduced that the Education Bureau will fund students who study specific subjects to visit the mainland, and hope that students will combine learning and history and culture to understand the latest development of the country, enhance independent learning and broaden their horizons.

Cai Ruolian believes that brainwashing is unidirectional instilling and not solving, but the field inspection will be opened to the students to experience it in person. After the students return to Hong Kong, they will also submit a special report.Study, establish Hong Kong feelings, national concepts, and world vision.
