(Beijing Comprehensive News) Sheng Guangzu, the former party secretary and general manager of the China Railway Corporation, was suspected of serious disciplinary violations. It is currently cooperating with the disciplinary review and supervision investigation of the State Supervision Commission of the Communist Party of China on the Discipline Inspection Commission of the Communist Party of China.

The website of the National Commission for Discipline Inspection reported the above news yesterday.

It is worth noting that, unlike 14 other central management cadres who have fallen off this year, Sheng Guangzu's notification did not use "investigation", but instead "cooperated with investigation".

Public information shows that the 73 -year -old Sheng Guangzu is from Jiangning, Jiangsu, and has served as Secretary of the Party Committee of the Nanjing Branch of the Shanghai Railway Bureau, Director of Hangzhou Branch, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Nanjing Branch, Secretary of the Party Committee, Jinan Railway BureauDirector and deputy secretary of the party committee.

Sheng Guangzu served as the secretary of the Party Group (Ministry of the Ministry), Deputy Director, Deputy Director of Customs, and was elected to the Central Committee at the 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China in July 2007.In March 2008, he was promoted to the General Administration of Customs, Secretary of the Party Group, and Director of the Customs; in February 2011, he served as Minister of Railways and Secretary of the Party Group.

He has no longer served as the general manager of the China Railway Corporation since October 2016, and has served as deputy chairman of the Twelfth National People's Congress Finance and Economic Committee in November of the same year.
