US Secretary of Commerce Raymond Doro warned Chinese companies that if they violate the US export control measures against Russia and export semiconductors made by Russia by technology, the United States will definitely implement semiconductor export controls on companies involved.

Gina Raimondo said in an interview with Reuters yesterday (23) that all Chinese semiconductor companies rely on American software to make chips, which means that these companies are affected by export control.

However, Raymond Duo pointed out that Chinese companies have not violated export control measures so far, and said that the Ministry of Commerce will not announce the content of investigation or law enforcement operations before finalizing the investigation or law enforcement operation.

She also said that Washington is expected to abide by export control measures, because if it violates export control, it will face very serious consequences, and any company may be affected, including SMIC.
