Jiang Chaoliang, 64, has worked in the financial system for a long time. When he served as the president of the Guangzhou Branch of the People's Bank of China in 1998, he assisted Wang Qishan, the deputy governor of Guangdong Province to handle the Guangdong International Trust Investment Company 5 billionUS dollar debt default cases.

In 2000, Jiang Chaoliang was promoted to the assistant to the President of the People's Bank of China, and later served as deputy governor of Hubei Province, chairman of the Bank of Communications, and president of the National Development Bank.

Jiang Chaoliang has led the shareholding reform of the Bank of Communications, as well as the reform of the national development bank's transformation from policy banks to commercial banks.

In 2014, Jiang Chaoliang began to control the place and was transferred to the governor of Jilin.In October 2016, he served as the secretary of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee and stepped down in February last year.
