The official resume shows that Lei Dongsheng is a native of Qidong, Hunan, born in November 1969.Graduated from the criminal law of Tsinghua University Law School, a doctorate in law. He worked in the Ministry of Public Security for many years. In 2002, he served as the deputy director of the research office of the General Office of the Ministry of Public Security.
