A spokesman for the Hong Kong Government said on February 11 that Chen Shuaifu, deputy director of the Political Affairs and Mainland Affairs Bureau, had already resigned due to personal health.
According to the report, Chen Shuaifu is currently on vacation and will leave office on the 28th of this month.
Zeng Guowei, director of the Political Affairs and Mainland Affairs Bureau, thanked Chen Shuaifu for his contribution during his term, and sincerely wished him a good health and a happy life.
