The U.S. government announced on Friday that the six officials of Lu and Hong Kong officials who enforced the Hong Kong National Security Law on Friday will impose sanctions.

According to Reuters, U.S. Secretary of State Pompeo said in a statement that among the politics and activists arrested by the Hong Kong government, 13 members of the Legislative Council, an American lawyer, and a former law of lawprofessor.He urged these people who were detained under the Hong Kong National Security Law immediately.

Pompeo said that this move from the Hong Kong government is another proof of the process of freedom and democracy in Hong Kong fundamentally damaged.

Among the six Lu -Hong Kong officials included in the sanctions list, including You Quan, deputy leader of the leading group of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Sun Qingye, Deputy Director of the Beijing State Administration of Beijing, Tan Yaozong, Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China, National Security of the Hong Kong Police DepartmentDirector Cai Zhanpeng, as well as the Assistant to the Hong Kong Police Department, Department of Langjiang Xueli and Jian Qien.

Report also said that sanction officials will be frozen in all assets in the United States.The Chinese Embassy in the United States did not immediately respond to the comment request.

The Hong Kong police arrested 53 democrats who have organized or participated in the Democratic primary church in July last year. Pompeo subsequently issued a statement saying that he would consider sanctions on relevant persons and the Hong Kong Hong Kong in the United States.The Economic and Trade Office is restricted.
