China has stepped down in 10 provincial party committee secretaries this year. Except for Jiang Chaoliang, secretary of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee, the rest of them have performed new duties. Eight of them have entered the National People's Congress.

According to the Beijing Youth Daily, since 2020, 10 provinces have replaced the provincial party committee secretary, one of which was removed from office.

In February this year, the Communist Party of China decided that Jiang Chaoliang would no longer hold the position of secretary, standing committee and member of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee.Since then, Jiang Chaoliang has not had new job news.

Among the 10 Provincial Party Secretary, one also entered Beijing to perform his duties from local as a "leader" of the State Council.In July of this year, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China decided that Hu Heping no longer served as the secretary of the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee, Standing Committee, and members.On the same day, Hu Heping was the secretary of the party group of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.In August, Hu Heping was appointed Deputy Minister of the Central Propaganda Department, secretary of the party group and minister of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

Hu Heping was born in October 1962. He is also the only "60s" of the 10 provincial party committee secretaries that this year.

The remaining eight provincial party committee secretaries have stepped down due to age, and have since entered the National People's Congress.The former secretary of the provincial party committee of Jilin, Hunan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Fujian, and Hainan had a new position on the 26th.After voting, the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress appointed Chen Hao as the deputy chairman of the National People's Congress of the National People's Congress; appointed Sun Zhigang and Du Jiahao as the deputy chairman of the Fiscal and Economic Committee of the National People's Congress; appointed Liu Cigui as the deputy chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National People's Congress;Yu Weiguo is the deputy chairman of the National People's Congress Environment and Resources Protection Committee.

In October this year, Che Jun, Secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee, and Chen Qiu, secretary of the Liaoning Provincial Party Committee, have been appointed as deputy chairman of the National People's Congress Supervision and Judiciary Committee and deputy chairman of the National People's Congress Education, Science and Health Committee.

So far, this year, the secretary of the provincial party committee of Hubei, Shaanxi, Liaoning, Zhejiang, Guizhou, Yunnan, Hunan, Jilin, Fujian, and Hainan completed the "new and old alternation".
