On December 2nd, according to the official website of the Ministry of Commerce, a few days ago, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China decided that Comrade Wang Wentao was the secretary of the party group of the Ministry of Commerce, and Comrade Zhong Shan no longer served as the party secretary of the Ministry of Commerce.

Born in May 1964, Wang Wentao was born in Nantong, Jiangsu. In 1981, he was admitted to the Philosophy of the Department of Philosophy of Fudan University. After graduation, he taught at Shanghai Aerospace Workers University.In 2001, he served as the director of the Development Planning Committee of the Songjiang District of Shanghai, and in 2002 as the deputy district chief of Songjiang District.

In 2004, Wang Wentao went to Yunnan to work, and served as Deputy Secretary and Executive Deputy Mayor of Kunming Municipal Party Committee. In 2005, he officially served as the mayor of Kunming.In 2007, he returned to Shanghai and served as the head of Huangpu District and the secretary of the district committee.
