Deng Peiran, deputy secretary of the Shijiazhuang Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, is suspected of serious disciplinary violations and is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervision and investigation by the Hebei Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection.

The website of the State Supervision Commission of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China released the above news today.

Deng Peiran, 57, was from Xianxian County, Hebei. He joined the Communist Party of China in January 1984 as a postgraduate degree.

He has been working in Hebei, and has served as the head of the Hebei Provincial Materials Bureau, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Hebei Products (Group) Company, and the leader of the Disciplinary Inspection Team of the Hebei Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection.In 2007, he served as the deputy director of the Hebei Provincial Supervisory Department and served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Tangshan Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Municipal Discipline Inspection Commission in the following year.

Two years later, he served as Deputy Secretary of the Cangzhou Municipal Party Committee; then in June 2013, he served as the secretary of the party group and director of the Council of Hebei Province.In December 2016, he was transferred to the Deputy Secretary of the Shijiazhuang Municipal Party Committee, and he has been the mayor of Shijiazhuang to this day in April of the following year.
