Chen Xiaojiang, deputy secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the Communist Party of China, has been transferred to the National Ethnic Affairs Commission of China and replaced Bartel as the party secretary of the party group.

The National Civil Affairs Commission announced this information on the official website today (14th).Bartel is still the director of the National Civil Committee and the Deputy Minister of the United Front Work Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.

Public information shows that Chen Xiaojiang, 58 years old, has worked in the water conservancy field for many years. He used to be the president and chief editor of China Water Resources News Agency.He joined the Ministry of Water Resources in 1998 and was the executive deputy secretary of the party committee of the directly -affiliated organ and the director of the General Office of the Ministry of Water Resources.

Chen Xiaojiang was transferred to the director of the Yellow River Water Conservancy Committee in 2011. From 2015 to April 2017, he briefly served as the Minister of Propaganda Department of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Standing Committee of the Liaoning Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Discipline Inspection Commission.He was subsequently transferred to one of the former supervisory departments of the State Supervision Commission and served as Deputy Minister. In October 2017, he also served as Deputy Secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.

After the supervisory department merged into the newly established National Supervision Commission in 2018, Chen Xiaojiang served as the deputy director of the State Supervision Commission.
