Based on the Taiwan Liberty Times and United Daily reports, Lee Dengke, who was called Jiang Gong, was called by the outside world in 1946, and moved to Taiwan with the Kuomintang government in 1946. He moved to the United States for a time until he returned to Taiwan in 2004 and settled in Hualien.
