Seven Chinese scholars joined the academic consultant committee of the top journal cells (Cell) magazines in the field of life sciences, including Gao Fu, director of the China Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which was once in the custard of public opinion in the crown disease epidemic.

According to the China Science Journal, the official website of Cell Press has updated the list of cell magazine academic advisory committees.Seven Chinese scientists including Gao Fu, Zhou Qi, Wang Hongwei, Huang Sanwen, Gao Caixia, Chen Lingling, and Zhang Zemin were selected.Coupled with Cao Xuetao and Deng Hongkui selected in 2013, the Cell Academic Consultant Committee has nine Chinese scholars.At present, the committee has a total of 119 people.

It is reported that the Cell Academic Consultant Committee has adopted an invitation system.The editor -in -chief of the magazine John Pham said that these invited scientists are respectful, and they have made great contributions to the scientific community and our journals.The members of the Academic Consultant Committee will give guidance or constructive suggestions to the direction of editing decision -making and journal development at irregularities, including suggestions on the policies and new plans of the editorial department.They are the windows that we maintain closely with various disciplines.

Pham said that members of the Academic Consultant Committee did not have a fixed term, but they planned to visit their list regularly to ensure the overall balance of the members of the academic consultant committee and the degree of fit with the journal itself.

Cell is the top journal in the field of life sciences recognized by the international academic community. It has been founded for nearly 46 years since its establishment in 1974.
