(Morning Post) Microsoft founder Bill Gates resigned as a board of directors and will put more time in charity in global health, development, education and climate change.

The Gates Foundation operated by Gates and his wife Melinda is one of the largest charitable institutions in the world. It has billions of dollars assets and provides funds for fighting diseases and eliminating poverty.

Gates resigned in 2008 with a full -time administrative position in Microsoft, and then continued to serve as chairman of the company until 2014, and since then, he has been a member of the board of directors.

Microsoft said that after Gates left the company's board of directors, there were now 12 members of the board of directors.
