Ge Hongsheng, former deputy secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee and former governor of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, died in Hangzhou on January 30 due to the invalidation of illness.
According to Zhejiang Daily today, the former deputy secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee and the former governor, former director of the Office of the Special Economic Zone of the State Council, Secretary of the Party Group, and former deputy chairman of the Fiscal and Economic Committee of the National People's Congress Ge Hongsheng were not effective for treatment due to illness.29 points died in Hangzhou at the age of 90.

According to public resumes, Ge Hongsheng participated in the revolution in 1946, worked in Zhejiang Province for a long time, and served as the director of the Zhejiang Provincial Electric Power Industry Bureau and the secretary of the Ningbo Municipal Party Committee.In 1986, Ge Hong was promoted to the Standing Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee and continued to be the secretary of the Ningbo Municipal Party Committee. In 1988, Ge Hong was promoted to the Deputy Secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee.
In 1990, Ge Hong was promoted to the governor of Zhejiang Province.
In 1993, Ge Hong was promoted to the Deputy Director and Deputy Secretary of the Party Group of the State Council Special Economic Zone Office. Two years later, he served as the secretary of the party group.
