Niu Xiangdong has worked in Gansu for many years. He was the assistant to the mayor of Lanzhou for nearly six years and was removed from office last month.

According to public resumes, Niu Xiangtong was born in August 1964. He was born in Longxian, Shaanxi. He graduated from the Department of Health, Baotou Medical College of Inner Mongolia.

In his early years, he joined the military industry and worked at the first mechanical manufacturer of Inner Mongolia of China Weapon Industry Corporation.In August 2002, he served as Secretary of the Secretary of the General Office of the State Council, and was clearly the deputy department level.

After that, he studied again and became a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Finance of the Institute of Finance of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
