Member of the former Consultative Committee of the CPC Central Committee and former Deputy Minister Li Rui (Minister -like treatment) of the Organization Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, died in Beijing at the age of 102 on February 16, 2019 at the age of 102.
During the severe illness and death of Comrade Li Rui, the relevant leaders of the central government expressed condolences and mourning in different ways.
Li Rui, formerly known as Li Hou Sheng, was born in Pingjiang, Hunan in April 1917.He participated in the revolutionary work in the spring of 1936 and joined the Communist Party of China in February 1937.In December 1939, he was the chief of the Propaganda Department of the Propaganda Department of the Youth Working Committee of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.Since September 1941, he has served as the leader of the Liberation Daily Domestic Review Editing and the Liberation Zone Group of the Review Department.In October 1945, he served as the president of the Ji Liao Daily.In 1948, he served as the political secretary of the leaders of the Northeast Bureau of the CPC Central Committee.Since August 1949, he has served as the president of the Xin Hunan News Agency and deputy minister and acting minister of the Propaganda Department of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee.Since October 1952, he has successively served as the director of the General Administration of Hydropower Construction of the Ministry of Fuel Industry, assistant to the Minister of Electricity Industry and Director of the General Administration of Hydropower Construction, and deputy director of the Ministry of Hydropower.Persecuted in the Cultural Revolution.In April 1979, he served as deputy minister of the Ministry of Electric Power Industry, deputy secretary of the party group, and the Political Commissar of the Infrastructure Engineering Bing Hydropower Headquarters.Since April 1982, he has served as the director and deputy minister of the Youth Cadre Bureau of the Organization Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.Retreat in June 1995.
Li Rui is a member of the 12th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. In September 1985, he was selected as members of the Central Advisory Committee on the National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
