In August 2017, Mo Jiancheng, then leader of the Discipline Inspection Team of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection in the Ministry of Finance and a member of the Party Leadership Group of the Ministry of Finance, was investigated.He is the first leader of the discipline inspection team assigned by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection to the central ministries and commissions since the 18th National Congress to be dismissed.

Mo Jiancheng was born in March 1956 in Shengzhou, Zhejiang. He joined the Communist Party of China in May 1977 and started working in February 1972. He graduated from the Correspondence College of the Central Party School with a major in economics and management.

Before taking up the post of Ministry of Finance, Mo Jiancheng’s official career was mainly in Inner Mongolia and Jiangxi.When he was in Jiangxi, he worked with Su Rong for nearly three years.
