Special inspectors are mainly selected from among the deputies of the National People's Congress, and may also be selected from members of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, staff members of relevant departments of the central and state agencies, members of various democratic parties, people without party affiliation, representatives of enterprises, institutions and social groups, experts, scholars, and the media.and literary and art workers, as well as front-line representatives and grassroots people.
