Before the discussion, Yun Yuexia, secretary and director of the Party branch of the Information Center, led all party members to study the implementation opinions on in-depth rectification of formalism and bureaucracy and the serious violation of discipline and law by Yun Weidong, former member of the party group and deputy director of the Party Committee of the Ordos Municipal People's Congress, and drunk driving.Notification of motor vehicle accidents.

The information showed that Yun Weidong caused death and injury due to drunk driving.Previously, he had been double-opened.

According to public information, Yun Weidong is a Mongolian, born in April 1963, a native of Tuzuo Banner in Inner Mongolia.He has been working in Inner Mongolia before. In 2016, he served as a member of the party group of the Standing Committee of the Ordos Municipal People's Congress, and as the deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress the following year.

On November 20, the Inner Mongolia Commission for Discipline Inspection issued a notice to expel Yun Weidong from the party and dismiss him from public office.

The report showed that Yun Weidong had drunk driving and had a major traffic accident.

According to the report, Yun Weidong violated the spirit of the eight central regulations and drove a bus to attend the banquet, resulting in a major traffic accident;

Violating road traffic management regulations, driving a vehicle while drunk, causing serious consequences, and being suspected of a crime of causing a traffic accident.

As a party member and leading cadre, Yun Weidong has an indifferent sense of discipline and legal awareness, disregarding the safety of people's lives and property, and driving while drunk, causing serious consequences and bad influences, which should be dealt with seriously.

In accordance with the Communist Party of China Disciplinary Sanctions Regulations Administrative Organs Civil Servant Sanctions Regulations Interim Provisions on Governmental Sanctions for Public Officials and other relevant regulations, after deliberation by the Standing Committee of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Discipline Inspection Commission and the Supervisory Committee meeting and reported to the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Party Committee for approval, it was decided to expel Yun Weidong from the party and dismissed from public officepunishment.

On November 15, the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Ordos City issued an announcement: The Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Wushen Banner decided to accept Yun Weidong's resignation as a representative of the Fourth People's Congress of Ordos City.
