On October 30, Duan Chenggang, a local official and Secretary of the Yubei District Party Committee, was promoted to the Standing Committee of the Chongqing Municipal Party Committee.This is the second new member of the Standing Committee of the Chongqing Municipal Party Committee within half a month after Ren Xuefeng, deputy secretary of the Municipal Party Committee.

According to news from Hualong.com on October 30, with the approval of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Duan Chenggang was appointed as a member of the Standing Committee of the Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China.

Duan Chenggang is a native of Jiangbei, Chongqing. He has never left Chongqing for his official career. He is 55 years old (born in June 1963).
