According to the client of People’s Daily, the People’s Procuratorate of Jinan City, Shandong Province sued and accused: From 1996 to 2017, the defendant Zhou Chunyu used his positions as Secretary of the General Office of the Anhui Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Anhui Provincial Department of Finance, Mayor of the People’s Government of Ma’anshan City,The mayor of the Bengbu Municipal People's Government and the Secretary of the Bengbu Municipal Party Committee provided assistance to relevant units in matters such as enterprise acquisitions and project contracting, and illegally accepted other people's property directly or through their relatives, equivalent to a total of more than 13.65 million yuan.

During Zhou Chunyu’s tenure as mayor of the Bengbu Municipal People’s Government, he violated regulations and decided to return land transfer fees to relevant companies, resulting in a loss of more than 665 million yuan in state property;Deposited in overseas banks, did not report as required until the incident;

As an insider of stock trading insider information, he bought relevant stocks during the sensitive period of insider information, accumulatively buying more than 270 million yuan, and made illegal profits of more than 350 million yuan.

From 2000 to 2015, Chen Xu, directly or through his relatives, illegally accepted property from others, amounting to RMB 74,236,979,090.
